Day 66

Holly's Place Streatham Hill London 7:55pm 8-25-10

Troy and I are getting ready to leave London tomorrow. Yesterday we went in to London with Holly. She showed us around the city. We went into a music shop and tried out some Ukeleles. When we got to Holly's on Sunday, Troy was immediately drawn to her Ukelele and over the past few days we have both learned to play and are now thinking of buying two so we can play together. Then we walked around trying to find a place to eat. Troy found an interesting burger place and the food was pretty good. Then we went to this huge sports shop called Lillywhites. Then we walked down the Thames near the London Eye. We had some Leifman's fruit beer (really good) at the British Film Institute bar down on the south bank next to the river. Then we walked toward the Globe theatre which was really cool and we saw London bridge. We made our way back to Holly's flat and relaxed. I fell asleep and woke up to Holly and Troy comparing me to the cat.

This morning we got up and lazed around for a bit. We sorted things out that we needed to get done and did some laundry. Then we walked to Brixton in the rain. We did some Pound Store shopping and had some lunch at The Rest is Noise pub/restaurant, which catered to the eclectic. We headed back to Holly's and blow dried our tent in her 1 bedroom flat. We're all packing things up tonight (We're heading to the airport tomorrow and Holly is going to the Reading music festival). I'm going to try and get some good sleep tonight since we have three flights in three days coming up.
